This page explains how to request deletion of your Vertex Books account and the personal data associated with it. Vertex Books is developed by Vertex Launch.

Vertex Books doesn't yet have a self-service delete button in the app — to request deletion, email us:

What is deleted

• Your personal profile — name, email address, and login credentials.
• Your access to any organisation(s) you belong to.

What may be retained

Vertex Books is accounting software for businesses in Singapore. If you are a member of an organisation (not its owner), deleting your personal account does not delete that organisation's books — invoices, expenses, journal entries, and other financial records remain, since they belong to the organisation and other team members rely on them.

If you are the owner of an organisation and want the entire organisation and its accounting records deleted, say so explicitly in your email — note that Singapore law (the Companies Act / IRAS record-keeping rules) generally requires accounting records to be retained for a minimum period regardless of account deletion, so we may need to retain a copy of financial records even after closing an organisation's account, solely to meet that legal obligation.
